Liesl's Songwriting Debut "Home" was nominated for Best Pop song
at the 2020 European Songwriting Awards 

"Home" is Liesl's Songwriting debut. "Home" was nominated for Best Pop song at the 2020 European Songwriting Awards (ESA) in Frankfurt, Germany. "Home" had its radio debut in the USA on Deep Ellum Radio. 

Liesl wrote "The First Thing" for musician John Niel (signed to Just Music), for his debut album
​"Long Time Coming" released on Dec 4, 2020.

"The First Thing" was ranked by Apple as the most popular track on the album.

"The First Thing" was released by Just Music SA as a single in October 2021. 

Liesl wrote "Before" an indie/folk song featuring  Australian Singer/Songwriter Sarah Bird.
"Before" received an Honorable Mention at Songdoor 2020.
Songdoor is one of the most esteemed songwriting competitions in the US.
